 Trial and Error mask,

I wanted to capture the irony of organic and man made materials with this mask. I wanted the man made material such as the metal and plastic to convey an organic shape that is sharp. I wanted the organic natural material to portray a geometric shape such as squares, rectangles, and cylinders.

The reason for geometrical shape on right side of the mask is supposed to represent a content, calm feeling.

The sharpness of the man made materials is supposed to inform the viewer that this side has a mad, angry feeling.

Unfortunately I was not able to finish this mask but I was able to note that the plaster wrap texture does not hold plastic material very well. Also the edges need to be plaster wrapped to reinforce the strength of the mask.
